Charlottesville High School invited UVA researchers to present their science to Studio and AP Art classes in October 2022. Post-docs and doctoral students from UVA created 10-minute presentations filled with their best scientific images to provide unique inspiration to the CHS Art students. Following the presentations, CHS students brainstormed ideas for their science-inspired art projects, while UVA scientists provided feedback and answered any remaining questions.
The collaboration does not end there! Check back for an updated post in February 2023 when UVA will host an art exhibition featuring the work of CHS Studio and AP Art students!
